i think that this is especially important for PoC, especially women and young girls. when you live in a world that demands you never know your worth, affirmation within your communities is so crucial! you never know what someone else might be dealing with and what external factors might be beating them down. this concept informs so much of how i live my life, and i honestly believe my life has become infinitely more rewarding since i started actively affirming the beauty in those around me.
